I am sorry I have been so out of touch, since my last News update. I have to say that the Cowboy Christmas Event was a big success. Everyone came together as a community and helped so many families. We hope we can do it again this year!
You may be wondering what I have been doing for the last six months and the biggest is the birth of our first baby girl, Ellie. It felt so different to hold her in my arms for the first time and have her feel so light and fragile, even though she was 9 lbs and 2 oz she felt so small compared to my two boys. My wife was a real champ. She was so patient with me the last few months of the pregnancy and shortly after the pregnancy. You see I have been traveling a lot! I was in the great state of Texas for a week performing and networking, one of the nights I was in Wichita Falls at the Texas Night Life and a few nights later, at the largest honky-tonk in the world, “Billy Bobs,” what an experience that was. Then a month and a half later I was off to Nashville TN., to start recording a brand new CD! It is set to be released the middle of this month (July). And last, a week before my wife was due it was down south to talk with a TV producer who is interested in doing a show on western living and having me as the host. So in a nut shell that is what I have been doing. The band and I are all geared up and ready for a great summer and we all want to see you there. I can’t wait to see you all out there havin’ a good time with us! Josh Evertsen |

I am proud to announce "Miracle on 25th Street" and "Cowboy Christmas Concert" celebration on Historic 25th Street. Please spend the night with me and the guys (my band, Quickdraw) and Santa this Christmas season on December 22 at 6:00pm for a free concert. We have worked hard with the great businesses on 25th, the organizers of the Christmas Village and the city of Ogden to make this a night to remember. Please bring your loved ones (young and old, short and tall) to this event and dress warm (If weather,s permitting the concert will be outside), there is fun to be had by all.
I have teamed up with Ogden City Professional Firefighters of Ogden and Ogden Firefighters Association to help bring the "Miracle Tree" to Ogden. You my be asking yourself what is the "Miracle Tree"? We have put trees up at the Ogden Municipal Building-4th floor lobby, Ogden Public Safety Building, Ogden Public Works Building, Roosters on 25th street and Onxy Salon-25th street, and on these you will find ornaments for children and family's who need our help this year. You can go to any of the location listed above and take an ornament and purchases a gift for those in need this Christmas season. Once the gift has been purchased, return it gift wrapped to the locations listed above where you picked up your ornament and attach the ornament to the gift. And Santa and the firefighters will be sure your gift is delivered to the right person. So please come spend the night with us at the "Cowboy Christmas Concert". Your shopping will be done, all of the work parties will be over, unless you are like me, your shopping won't be done. So it would be a good time to take a look at what 25th Street has to offer you could also visit the Christmas Village at the Municipal Gardens, and the Old World Christmas Village at Union Station. Love to see you all there. |

It has been a very busy summer for me and the guys; we have been putting on a lot of miles traveling around to some great states and have seen some beautiful country. For example, the red rocks of Southern Utah, the mountains of Wyoming and the wide open fields that stretches out beneath the great Montana sky. With countless hours of traveling and the endless beauty that this great nation has to offer, I have met some great people that make up this great country. Whether it is the man or woman who works at the cash register who makes idle conversation with you while ringing up are your food and gas purchase, the auto mechanic who fits you in to replaces a blown out tire while you have been traveling down the road, it could even be an elderly gentlemen sitting with his dog in the front lobby of his hotel, and making small talk each and every time you walk by, or the men and women who sing the National Anthem at the rodeo.
I love singing, performing, writing, but most of all I love meeting new friends everywhere I go. Each place we go, has been a new experience. Thanks so much for the great summer and the memories that each and every one of you all has given me and the guys in my band, we are so very grateful. Josh Evertsen |

I want to thank everyone who came out to support us at the Clark County Fair and Rodeo. It was a great time to be had by all. We made many new friends, I hope to see each and every one of you down the road.
A very special thanks to all who made this great fair happen, so much time and effort goes into putting on a fair and those people behind the scenes sometimes go unnoticed. So, a sincere thanks for making our stay so memorable. I have added some new tour dates so make sure to check them out. I guarantee there's fun to be had by all! ~ Josh |

Thank you!!! There were so many new and familiar faces. The Hearts Gone Wild Concert was a great success because of each and every one of you who came out. Not only was it our families, friends and fans that made it such a success it was all of the great sponsors. With out them the event could not have happened.
I would like to recognize some of those people that made it come together just right; first and for most, My Wife, she has been a tower of strength for me; she has been a trooper to the end. And then there is Heidi, I am so grateful for all of your guidance through this event, I couldn't have done it without you. Stephanie, thank you for helping me out with the radio time, and Amber for doing the press releases which were a big help. Lisa thanks for your support and for getting the word out there, and all your effort in marketing this event. I would also like to Thank Justin Monsen. He has been a big believer in me and I want to acknowledge all of his efforts! THANKS! As a lot of you may already be aware of, I have been working with The CBR on the song, THE CBR. I want to say thanks to all of you whom have checked out my website through the CBR link. I appreciate your interest. I have a 3 song CD available with the songs that are on my website. If you would like to purchase a CD, please email me at joshevertsen@hotmail.com to arrange this. I appreciate all the support that you have all shown me. I will be looking for all your faces at the next event so be sure to make it out. We're gonna have a great time! ~ Josh |

Thank you for coming to check out my website. We've got some really great events planned for this year. To find out more about these events please go to my "events" page.
I have been so busy getting things up and running this past winter that I have lost track of time. Between working with Silvergear on this website, conventions, recording and events in between all that; well needless to say, "Time flies when you're having fun." I really want to give some credit where credit is due. Thanks to my family for the sacrifices they have made for me to follow my dreams, they have been so supportive. My band "Quickdraw", they make our shows a cut above the rest with the creativity and energy they contribute; they are really incredibly talented guys. And a BIG Thanks to all the support I have received from all of you, the fans, without you I wouldn't be able to do what I love most, entertain. This past fall I partnered up with two other songwriters, Keith Larsen and Justin Monsen, to write the theme song for the CBR (Championship Bull Riding), this organization is one I am truly impressed with. This song will be aired on The Outdoor Network Channel and during their live events so check out CBR through their link on our website for more information. This year brings many great things! We will be traveling to many of the surrounding states (Nevada, Montana, Wyoming, Arizona, and Idaho) including Utah, so be sure to check us out. Check back with me for news updates; see yah on down the road! ~ Josh |
